SUMMARY

1. O: distal third of anterior interosseous membrane & anterior fibula.2. I: Its tendon passes anterior to the lateral malleolus, beneath the superior & inferior extensor retinacula to insert into dorsal 5th MT base.
4. NS: deep peroneal n.
5. A: dorseflexion & eversion of foot.
