SUMMARY
1. There are several different types of SVTs depending on the site of re-entry: accessory pathway, AV node, atrium.2. This may start & stop suddenly.
3. Management: adenosine, given as a rapid IV bolus can produce vagal effect and revert SVT.
4. SE: flushing, bronchospasm, temporary high-grade AV block.
