SUMMARY
1. Oxyntic glands: located in the body & fundus of the stomach. Secrete HCl, pepsinogen & intrinsic factor. - Pepsinogen & HCl ⟹ pepsin
- Intrinsic factor necessary for Vit B12 absorption
2. Pyloric glands: loacted in the antrum. Secrete protective mucus.
