SUMMARY

1. SA node: 0.05 m/s
2. Atrial internodal pathways: 1 m/s
3. AV node: 0.05 m/s
4. Bundle of His: 1 m/s
5. Purkinje fibres: 4 m/s
6. Ventricular muscle: 1 m/s

Note: conduction speed is different frompacemaker potential. Various parts of the conduction system & myocardium are capable of spontaneous rhythmical discharge but the SA node discharges most rapidly, hence is the cardiac pacemaker.
