CLINICAL-ULNAR NERVE EXAMINATION
SUMMARY
SIMPLE ANATOMY
1. Motor supply: ulnar half of FDP, FCU, all small muslces of the hand (except LOAF) muscles.
EXAMINATION
1. Inspect: wasting of the small muslces, guttering of the dorsum of hand, partial clawing of RF & LF (ulnar paradox).
2. Froment's sign - demonstrates adductor weakness of the thumb.
3. Test sensation over the LF & medial half of RF.
