SUMMARY
1. Uremia is a constellation of signs and symptoms associated with a GFR < 15 mL/min.
2. Clinical - anorexia, nausea/vomiting, pericardial and pleural effusions, hemorrhagic pericarditis, platelet dysfunction and bleeding, pruritus, sensory neuropathies, and CNS dysfunction (confusion, difficulty concentrating, encephalopathy, coma).
