SUMMARY
1. Myofascial pain syndrome: local pain and tender points that resolve with local treatment, but may recur. Fatigue, morning stiffness uncommon.
2. Chronic fatigue syndrome: disabling fatigue for at least 6 months. Often preceded by a viral syndrome.
3. Other rheumatological conditions: PMR, myositis, etc.
