SUMMARY

Look for the following in history:
1. Trauma, surgery
2. Bacterial infections: strep pharyngitis, rubella, dysentery, gonorrhoea, TB
3. Viral infections: hepatitis, ross river fever, dengue
4. Parasites: tic bite (lyme disease)
5. Psoriasis
6. Smoking: RA more common
