the
sural
nerve.

Lateral
cutaneous
nerve
of
the
calf
-
supplies
the
skin
over
the
upper
half
of
the
peroneal
compartment.

Recurrent
genicular
nerve.

TERMINAL
BRANCHES
1.
Deep
peroneal
-
sensory
supply
to
the
periosteum,
ligaments
of
the
tibia &
dorsum
of
the
foot.
Motor
supply
to
all
the
muscles
of
the
anterior
compartment
of
the
leg.
2.
Superficial
peroneal
nerve
-
skin
over
the
peroneal
compartment &
2,3,4
interdigital
spaces.
Motor
supply
to
all
muscles
of
the
lateral
compartment
of
the
leg.
