SUMMARY


1. O: intertrochanteric line & medial lip of the linea aspera. 2. I: medial border of patella (important for patellar stability), base of patella & tibial tuberosity via patella tendon. 
3. NS: posterior branch of femoral n.
4. A: extends the knee.
