SUMMARY


1. O: flexor retinaculum & scaphoid tubercle.
 2. I: lateral side of base of proximal phalanx of the thumb & tendon of the EPL. 
3. NS: recurrent branch of the median n.
4. BS: superficial palmar branch of radial a.
5. A: abducts the thumb.
