SUMMARY

1. The boundaries of the fossa as shown below.
2. The roof of the fossa is formed by the Fascia Lata.
3. The floor (from above downwards) - femur => capsule of knee joint => popliteus.

4. The common peroneal nerve emerges from the lower lateral boundary.
