SUMMARY

1. O: bony margin of obturator foramen + obturator membrane.
2. I: passes laterally and posteriorly beneath the neck of the femur to be inserted into the trochanteric fossa.
3. NS: obturator nerve.
4. A: externally rotates + stabilizes hip.
