SUMMARY
TIP: 'BL' - 2 biceps muscles inserted laterally
1. O: long head - medial facet of ischeal tuberosity. Short head - linea aspera & upper part of the lateral supracondylar line. 2. I: head of the fibula & across the tib/fib joint.
3. NS: sciatic nerve (tibial & common peroneal nerves).
4. A: flexes the knee; extends the hip.
