SUMMARY

1. Scars - surgery.

2. Kyphoscoliosis - can result in restriction in lung capacity.

3. Pectus carinatum (pigeon chest) - rickets, chornic childhood respiratory illness.

4. Pectus excavatum - mostly aesthetic, but can lead to restricted lung capacity.

5. Harrison's sulcus - sulci that appear just above the costal margin where the diaphragm attaches. Due to severe childhood asthma, rickets.

6. Radiotherapy scarring.

7. Prominent veins.
