SUMMARY
SIMPLE ANATOMY
1. Motor supply: muscles of the flexor compartment, except the FCU + ulnar half of FDP.
2. Motor supply: LOAF muscles (Lateral 2 lumbricals, Oponens pollicis, APB, FPB); C6-T1.
EXAMINATION
1. Inspect: wasting of thenar eminence.
2. Lesion at carpal tunnel: weakness of thumb abduction.
3. Lesion at cubital fossa: weakness of FDS (positive Oschner's clasping test: the index finger fails to flex while clasing hands).
