SUMMARY

1. Hips: protrusio acetabuli, inward bulging of the acetabulum into the pelvic cavity.

2. Knees: common symmetric joint involvement. Quadriceps wasting, joint effusion, valgus deformity, Baker's cyst.

3. Ankles: tarasal tunnel syndrome with compression of the posterior tibial nerve.

4. Feet: hammer toes, claw toes, hallux valgus.

5. Stocking numbness: peripheral neuropathy, mononeuritis multiplex.

6. Foot drop: common peroneal nerve entrapment or vasculitis.

7. Achilles tendon rheumatoid nodules.
