SUMMARY
1. Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA) is the presence of a coordinated electrical rhythm without a detectable pulse.
2. The prognosis is worse than VT/VF.
3. Defibrillation is not indicated.
4. Causes: tension pneumothorax, tamponade, massive PE.
5. Prompt diagnosis & treatment is the key!
